I am new here. I am trying to move to the Bay Area due to personal reasons.
I have about 2 years of public accounting experience, CPA, and will finish
up my master in tax pretty soon. I do not need VISA sponsor. I can't start
immediately due to school. I should be able to start in late August. Can any
accounting professionals from Bay Area give me a referal? If your firm or

发帖数: 209 | 2 Just want to add some more details here. I have some big four experience and
some non big four public accounting experience. All my experiences are tax
related including: partnership, S-Corp, C-Corp, individual, trust and estate
compliance. Some provision experience (pre ASC-740), but not too much. Tax
planning/projection. State and local compliance. Strong research skills.
Very efficient with all microsoft office softwares, ProSys, GoSys, GoFileRoom, BNA
, ProSystem Engagement, Adobe software.
I am leaning towards business/corporate tax (C-corp, consolidation,
provision (ASC-740, FAS109, FIN 48, state local, Merger & Acquisition,
International Tax...etc). I am not saying I have strong experience in all
those, but I am interested in this career path. Any professionals from Big
4 or other public/private firms/companies know anything about any positions

at least 3 years of experience, and since it's not your strong skill set,
it might be a bit difficult to start there.
Are you currently in school full time until August?
Big 4 referral is probably better for you at this point. | s******u

for big company in house tax department as long as the internship leads to a
possible fulltime offer. | z********i
