Dream Corps International's Finance Team Recruiting Treasurer Assistant
Volunteer
We are a small non-profit that is looking for extra help with financial
operations. The Finance Team is looking for an assistant who would help the
Head Treasurer with tasks including the following:
· deposit and acknowledge donations
· file state/federal taxes and non-profit reports
· independently research and understand accounting concepts, non-
profit filing requirements, and how to fill out and file relevant forms
· learn and develop Dream Corps' accounting system
· generate financial reports
· expected time commitment 2 hrs/week on average
We hope to find someone with the following qualifications:
· located at a stable US address
· available beginning July 2012
· prompt, reliable, resourceful
· have an ability and willingness to independently learn and
address issues
· proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
· basic ability to read Mandarin
· non-profit and payroll accounting and tax background a plus
· experience with Sage Peachtree accounting software a plus
