I am considering a career in actuary after college. Could anyone already
working in this field tell me more about the career path in actuary?
Specifically,
a) what's the role of an actuary in an insurance company? Is the job more
client, sale-oriented, or analytical/number crunching?
b) For a typical insurance company, what percentage of employees are
actuaries? Are actuaries considered part of the revenue-center, or cost-
center
