Some people may argure that pension would be the last choice and the whole industry is downsize. Why do not we treat it the other way? If nobody wants to
do it, who will administer the $23 trillion gloable pension assets and $14

不过干不干pension还是最取决于一个人的兴趣（其实干什么都是这样）。
我老板就是一个天生的EA，会给我津津乐道、喋喋不休地讲各种IRS code section,
revenue rulings, releases, opinion letters, 什么404 412 415 再加上a b c d e.
..再跟上罗马数字i ii iii...... 从他office出来我脑袋总是大三圈。。。
你提到plan design，是的，这是pension里非常有趣的一部分。你一定是在一个小公司
，手上有些小client。珍惜这个机会吧，这些小plan是最长经验的，而且你会有机会接
触到the business side of consulting，如果你也喜欢和人打交道的话。。。我也曾
有过一堆小client，什么医生律师投资经理房地产商。。。工作也有意思，钱也好挣。
。。但最后我还是郁闷了，看着他们把大把大把的银子往DB plan里运，逃了大把大把
的税（合法地），总有一种助纣为虐的感觉。。。打那起，才明白在这个国家里是谁在
pay tax。。。

发帖数: 500 | 3 我现在就是做ALM/LDI的，觉得没啥意思，还老开工不足，我天天闲得发疯，跟老板
complian没事情干，老板说考试阿，可是也不能光考试阿，也得学点东西阿，老板是
FSA，所以还有一些valuation的活干，我是纯投资，有ALM项目才开工,以我的工作量和
我考试速度,这个趋势下去，即使我成了FSA，也什么都不懂
估计很多pension funds也是得过且过，不到死到临头不会想到要未雨稠缪要用ALM来
manage risk，而且越来越多公司close/freeze plan，这一块只能越来越小
所以我们公司的marketing做得比较艰难，现在经济又不好，好多公司更没有budget给
做ALM分析
而且感觉consulting就是忽悠
现在比较郁闷 |
