在找工作途中得到版上很多的支持，所以一定要来和大家分享我的快乐！
顺便有几个问题想要请教大家：
1.Recruiter在联系我的时候没有明确指出是否提供accomendation,或者来回路费。我
能不能直接发信过去问他？这样合适吗？
2.我现在马上就要毕业了，好不容易拿到这个实习，我蛮想去的。但是，这家公司应该
不给办H1B,所以，实习完了之后还要继续找工作。有两个选择，一是先实习，然后再去
读一个一年的master，然后再出来找全职。二是先实习，然后紧接着找全职。
不知道版上有没有前辈之前用过第一招？OPT可以split用么？比如，先用3个月，然后
一年之后再用9个月？是不是很有风险？如果我考了3门考试，再加上现在的实习，等暑
期实习完了找全职会不会非常有帮助呢？

my 2 cents: you can apply CPT for summer section as long as your school
support it. Or you can consider pre-completion OPT in summer section, but
you need to stay in school in and after summer so that you can split the OPT
period. My suggestion is you can postpone your graduation to December and
nail a job in fall semester.
Remember, consult ISO of your school before doing anything.

我目前的情况就是，我的这个学位在5月份就毕业了。我打算明天去和系里商量，能不
能让我延期到秋季毕业。
前辈说的pre-completion OPT里intern前后的学校可是不同的学校么？
比如，我5月从A校毕业，然后去实习，然后9月去B校上课。
这样还可以split么？
还有，如果我能够说服系里面让我在12月毕业的话，我是不是就满足了申请CPT的条件？

To my experience, try your best to extend your graduation to December. You
need to fill out an extension form with the signature of your adviser and
reason of extension. If your adviser is helpful, it is easy to get an
extension. And you just need to enroll only one credit in fall. I am not
sure if the one credit will work with CPT. So consult with your school's
ISSS office right away with the requirement of extension and CPT.

Every school has its own CPT policy, you need to consult ISO and department. My school seldom approves CPT unless intern credit is required for graduation. Both CPT and pre-completion OPT require your continuous status in school.

good luck on your job search ^^

Thank you so much for all the great suggestions. I emailed my isss office
today, and here is what they respond:
"If you complete all of your course requirements by May, then you would not
be eligible to use CPT for a summer internship. Even if you did have some
courses left, OIE does not authorize CPT in a student's final semester as

meant to facilitate a job offer - that is what OPT is for. The only

2. better use cpt; opt can be splitted, but you can NOT go to a different
school - that ends your current opt automatically unless you get another
