如果是后者，例子很多。我上个公司一个acas每周上四天，
周一work from home。这种情况应该不算孤例。很多公司
为了accommodate 员工的家庭需要（比如接送孩子），有
flexible work schedule。
如果你说前者，公司雇佣你，但是完全不用到公司来，很
少这种情况。特别是fulltime更少。短期contract见过一两次。
不过大概一年前左右看到一个chicago的opening说要这种
position。当时没有兴趣就没仔细看。

work as part-time. In general, it depend the commute distance and some
family reasons.
Both my previous and current company have these kind of situation. I had
flexibility work from home in the previous company but I go to company at
least 3 days a week since I think face to face communication is better for
learning things. so for junior level, I think it is better to work in office
