感觉 entry-level的工作没有希望找到了。
不知道考个SAS会不会有帮助？
另外，都已经毕业了，现处于无业状态，还有必要在找到工作前继续考actuarial exam
么？

Even with 3 exams, without green card, little chance to get an entry-level

I was just wondering if SAS is very useful or an important skill in actuary'
s daily work.
If not, what are the most important skills generally I should master to get
an entry-level job.

如果是我我会继续考，
SAS考不考都无所谓, 很多公司都不要求SAS.

找工作本来就是件体力活, 得有点耐心恒心.
如果你连面试都没有,就应该不是考试的问题,你要找人看下你简历
如果你有面试,那就得总结提高面试技巧,把握下次机会

关键精算是按照考试拿钱的 所以 你说吧 比较难 当然都是一般情况

I believe the reason for those w/ 4+ exams getting eliminated has more
to do with the fact that they lack other critical skills such as
communication rather than their exam progress.
I agree with you that getting ASA w/o any experience is a bad idea.

SOA exam passed can expect to earn more than $60,000. Usually salary
increases are awarded to trainees who are successful on the actuarial exams.
If you have more exams passed, you will definitely have exam increase in
you salary. For instance, with 5 exams passed, you could get 70k base salary
in my current company. But if you do not have any experience, you may be
eliminated.

should do minimal harm on any candidate. Why would any company eliminate

internship signals that you failed landing a job before. You are supposed
to have a job after you passed three exams. If you didn't, that indicates
your other skills are weak.
We had a candidate who passed 4 exams in one year with all 10s. Of course,
she got the interview. But if it took you more than two years to pass the 5
exams before you find a job, you got to find a reason for it.
