不行.09-09年太多的剽窃的.10年以后SOA加强了审核.如果你以是ASA或FSA,将被剥夺,
并被公布在ACTUARY 的杂志上.

发帖数: 196 | 6 多谢各位了。一个module说我递交无关材料，其实我学得非常仔细，答案也写得非常认
真。只是太长了。看了标准答案后精简了些。绝对没有抄袭。因为module说看了答案之
后可根据答案再做修改。所以我就改了。对于这个我想是可以翻案的。（我根本就没递
交无关答案）。其实第一次答案也可以了。只是想保证万无一失就修改了自己的答案。
这个已经在今年2月通过了。另外一个我也是修改了答案。但没有抄袭，有几句语言借
鉴，计算全都是我自己的。
请教各位：
1. 什么种类律师可以帮改写申诉信？
2.哪位同行、前辈可以给出module 递交答案时最后给出的那几段关于修改答案和剽窃
答案的英文。我想仔细读一下看可否用于申诉。
3. SOA 会保存第一次递交的答案吗（我自判第一次为不合格，所以递交了两次）
4.这样我可以说我第一次递交写得非常认真？？这又帮助吗？

The penalties issued (keeping in mind that some may change due to pending appeals) are:
Warning – 84 One-year ban – 136 Two-year ban – 72 Three-year ban – 1 Five-year ban – 8 Lifetime ban – 3 Other ban - 5 Penalty overturned on appeal – 37 Case dropped – 13 candidates
A ban means the candidate has the particular exercise or assessment disqualified and is prohibited from completing that exercise or assessment as well as further modules, exercises, assessments or examinations for the indicated period. In general, bans are longer for assessments than for exercises and are also longer for repeat or multiple infractions.
Of these 359 candidates, 150 elected to appeal the SOA discipline decision. At the time of this publishing, the status of some of these appeals was: Pending – 8 candidates Appeal denied and penalty upheld – 96 Appeal denied, but ban reduced – 5
It is important to note that 34 of the candidates had been granted ASA designations based on exercises or assessments for which they no longer have credit. As a result, their ASA designations were revoked. |

1. Gaining access to the SOA e-Learning system prior to course registration.

Final Assessment or DMAC project, copying, or using another person’s work.
3. Use of language or information that has been copied from or relied upon
from any SOA model solution (including earlier versions of the assignment),
any other candidate submission or a solution prepared by another party.
4. Copying from a source without proper citation.
5. Gaining access to FAP or FSA End-of-Module Exercise model solutions prior
to exercise submission.
6. Failing to secure work documents (e.g., storing your files on a publicly
accessible network).
7. Discussing or consulting other persons regarding the FAP Interim
Assessment.
8. Gaining access to the e-Learning system using another candidate’s User
ID and password.
9. Providing your e-Learning system User ID and password to another
candidate.
10. Taking the course, FAP or FSA End-of-Module Exercises, FAP Interim
Assessment, FAP Final Assessment or DMAC project for another candidate or
arranging for or permitting another person to take the course, End-of-Module
Exercises, FAP Interim Assessment, FAP Final Assessment or DMAC /project
for another candidate.
\11. Disclosing, publishing or posting the contents of any assessment or
model solution.
12. Presenting false information on the course or assessment applications.
13. Submitting unrelated documents in place of the required End-of-Module
Exercises, assessments or projects.
14. Purchasing or selling (or attempting to purchase or sell) any
information or materials related to the SOA e-Learning courses.
15. Submitting any false, fraudulent or misleading documentation.
16. Attempting to engage or engaging in any improper conduct.
17. Posting or transmitting any information or software that contains a
virus, Trojan horse, worm, or other disabling device or harmful component.

Students are expected to sit for an exam or module grouping each six-month (
or one year) period. 否则你就要被剔除这个Program，这就意味：
You exam study materials, seminars and fees might not be paid by your
company;
Study time provided during work hours would not be received, ect.
一年其实很快就过去了。。

我个人做module是提交以后从来不看答案，直接选能过。做下个module才看上个module
人家是怎么写的。个人感觉其实语法不是很重要，人家明白就好。别想着写得很华丽。

Relied upon the module solution. 只怪自己不自信，自己的答案肯定也能过。选择
fail 自己，看了标准答案后，略作修改自己的答案的语言文字。
请问有没有好心人贴一下递交module solution 时， Soa elearining 给出的那几段关
于抄袭和修改自己答案 after you study the module solution, 的文字。我想看看我
到底哪里违规了。

发帖数: 36 | 21 If I were you, I would not appeal for it. First you acknowledge plagiarism.
It is quite enough to ban you for one year. What for if you are going to
appeal? Your penalty might be upheld if you would do it. Keep us posted if you want to appeal for it. Good luck!
FYI, here is the case that SOA wrongfully accused of plagiarism and the
appeal was disapproved.

她做例子警告我别看答案。这个人也确实在公司呆过，然后离职了。当然具体原因没人
清楚。

But the first one is obvious wrong. I can prove that all of material is to
answer the excersise. Also I didn't plagiarizing. I just revised my answer
after I studied the module solution. Several non-essential language is
similar. Such as see the following table/per your request.
Don't understand why SOA allow the candidates revise the answer based on the
learnings from the module solution. BTW, this is just an
excersise, not an exam or assessment. |
