1) down a word file abc.doc on firefox into a usb.
put the usb into a pc, then show two files: abc.doc, and .abc.doc.
what is the .abc.doc file?
2) how to check the wireless signal strength? AirPort can show the strength
of the connnected one, but not all on the list/range? I need to download a
third party application?
thanks! | a***y 发帖数: 19743 | 2 Snow Leopard show signal strength for all.
.abc.doc is Mac UNIX hidden file.
Becasue your USB drive is FAT32, additional info about the file cannot be
natively saved on the filesystem.

mac os x 10.5.8就不能show signal strength for all?
so if I open abc.doc in Mac, the info from .abc.doc will help, and no file
information will lose.
But if open abc.doc in PC, will PC utilize the .abc.doc info?
(plus, after I delete the .abc.doc file, the file abc.doc is still ok for PC to open?)
thanks!

| i*********k 发帖数: 10 | 5 use KisMac from http://kismac-ng.org/
It shows signal strength, password protected, encryption method, etc.
It's free and good |
