this was the one I was talking about.
From the perspective of a designer. Apparently it is very difficult to
provide the same design and UI experience with current web standards, and
make it work on all the browsers.

Sure, I agree.
But history is on the web UI side.
The reason I don't think HTML5 is going to succeed is exactly
because of this, the web doesn't need a dramatic UI, but rather
a standardized UI.
