and NFC will follow sooner or later. Like it or not, Apple will play catch
up, and it's not the first time.

行。Google的NFC努力至今没有什么结果，高管倒是走了好几个，相信你也有耳闻。苹
果最大的优势在于知道不做什么。NFC, wireless charge，face unlock这些不解决实
际问题的鸡肋功能，自然进不了iPhone5。但是二维码就被放入passbook，因为那东西
在不增添infrastructure的前提下解决实际问题。你在看Square，那也是个聪明公司，
最近的几个动作都很漂亮。

Target and Walmart have joined in the development of yet another mobile
payment system, insides gave out on Thursday. The two were said by Wall
Street Journal's contacts to now be part of a group with about 24 member
store chains hoping to create a standard that, though not directly named,
would use NFC. Consulting firm BetterBuyDesign's Steve Mott corroborated the
plan by revealing its involvement in the project, with word that big chains
as well as drugstores, fast food restaurants, and vending machine firms
were involved.
NFC是个硬件，google wallet不一定流行。但NFC无疑是个标准。target跟walmart都跟
进，流行就是个时间问题。

支持新的付款方式。真正的阻力不在商店这些front end，而在处理付款的back end，
这里面现在插一腿的太多，phone manufacturer, mobile service provider, payment
collector, credit issuer, 各方把利益分清楚了，还不知得几年。Google这种小左
公司妄图搅和一把，结果根本成不了事而，更别提三双这样连门儿在那都找不到呢。
Apple现在想搞定电影电视都很难，不可能掺和到NFC里。

payments are strong incumbents. 人们虽然觉得手机碰一下挺酷，但本质上并没觉
得有必要改变多年来的支付习惯。用一个很俗的营销字眼，the pain point isn't
there.

apple搞个passbook, 但是实际用的时候还得把二维码显示出来扫一下，nfc的话碰一下
就好了。
