Most importantly, it may attract a few more Office 365 subscribers.
I will definitely use Office to maybe finish up my iWork ducoments or edit
word files from other people, as I have 365 subscription from work right now
. But I doubt I will keep paying. By the time my subscription expires, iWork
would have become even better.
