Hi,
Welcome to Arizona. There are a couple of places that I know in Chandler
that have regular TT activities.
1. There is a Buddhist Temple on south side of Elliot Ave between Loop101
and Dobson. They USUALLY have 3 tables on Wed and Sat from 4-7. When I say
"usually" I mean if they don't have any other "temple" function they would
have the tables open. Since it is a Buddhist temple, most people go there
are Asians. A small donation is "encouraged" if you do go there.
2. There is a church on Ray Ave by Alma School. It is on a huge lot and in
the back there are 3 trailers. One of the trailers have TT tables and are
open on Sundays from 2-5. Most of these church goers are Asians (if you
haven't figured out already, Chandler has a large population of Asians). If
you go, they will try to get you to join the church. I have only been
there once and have not been back - I am an atheist.
The Phoenix Table Tennis club is in Central Phoenix, has 14 tables and is
open Mon and Wed from 6:30-10. If you play regularly, it is worth the drive
to go out there. There are people rated from 1000 to 2200 so there is no
problem finding someone at your level. Their fiscal year is September-
August so it is a good time to sign up for a new membership. check out
