It differers from Metropolitan musuem of arts, guggeiham musuem and Frlick
colection by its being very dynamical. I especially l ike people who go there.
90% young people and they don;t look as touristy as people who went to MET.
Its collection is really a nice overview of modern arts, photography,
architecture.
And it is pretty big. I am thinking of becoming a member so i can skip the
line all the time.

yeah. that is because the missions of MET and Moma differ. MET is kind of old
world stuff..., it is an opaque container of art works, isoloated from the
city. while you do feel the transparency of new Moma, through lobby, glassy
facade, atrium, garden... it fuses into the fabric of the city.
new Moma is massive...too tired to finish all the galleries. and those bridges
on the upper floors are getting really scary:)

there.

No matter how remote I feel about Modern Art, I cannot doubt or deny others'
sensibility and enthusiasm. Here is a in-depth review from the latest issue of
NY Review of Books by one of my favorite authors.
