It was with great sadness to inform you tragedy news that our Chinese fellow
, Dr Zhongjun Cao, passed away on Saturday 26 January 2008. Zhongjun was a
research fellow at Victoria University. On the 22nd January 2008, Zhongjun
was attacked returning from work at Footscray Park. Following the attack,
Zhongjun was admitted to Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition
with very serious head injuries, from which he did not regain consciousness.
