A MARRIED professional man in his 50s is $40 million richer after the
jackpot Powerball draw.
The Melbourne man is one of two winners of the $80 million first division
prize drawn lastnight with the other lucky punter coming from New South
Wales.
Tattersalls spokeswoman Karen Anning said the man, from Melbourne's western
suburbs, had no idea he had won when she phoned him today.
"The first thing he said was 'I'd better call my wife'," Ms Anning said.
