Ford and Nissan seem to benefit most from Toyota's woes. Ford's gain came
from the buy American sentiment and the improvement of its products, while
Nissan offered deep incentives. Honda didn't get as much gain as expected
since it didn't offer as much incentives as its competitors.
Hyundai/Kia's future may not look any brighter if Toyota has to cut prices
and offer more incentives, which would eat up Korean cars's edge - the low
price. http://online.wsj.com/mdc/public/page/2_3022-autosales.html
