报了对方保险公司，来人估价。今天收到估价单，才500多刀。
接下来该做什么？我把车拿去bodyshop修，保险公司付修车钱，就这么了了吗？
车即使修好但也贬值，这不赔吗？我费时间去bodyshop修车取车，耽误我的时间，这不
赔吗？

我拿到的是估价单，不是赔偿的支票。同事说拿估价单和车到bodyshop，如果bodyshop
的人觉得500美元修不好，会继续和保险公司要钱。
我倒是不怕车不会被修好，但是我的问题是，贬值的部分和对我造成的不方便，一般情
况下不赔吗？

发帖数: 36252 | 5 On fixing the car, you have 2 options:
A. get cash - if you do NOT want to fix the car or want to fix it cheap
and pocket the differece, get 3 free estimates from 3 different body
shops, fax them to the insurance company and ask for as much as possible
or
B. get the car fixed - send your car to good bodyshop, ask them to bill
the insurance directly. Usually insurance company recommended bodyshop
are good; avoid dealer because most dealers do not do body work, they
tow your car to a body shop nearby and charge you $2000 extra.
Call other party's insurance. demand car rental reimbursement, starting
from the day of the accident until the proprety damage claim is closed.
get a lawyer if you want to claim bodily injury. you can spend dozens of
hours on research, paper work and fighting with insurance company. Or
you can get a lawyer and do nothing other than going to the
doctor/therapy and usually get more money into your pocket.
