发帖数: 1039 | 9 several yrs ago, my colleague got a new XC90, its front axle got broken in
normal driving on the ramp just off the highway, its front touched ground,
quite some damage. Volvo only wanted to fix. After quite some "discussing",
she got a new one. But 2nd one was very good, no trouble and she said she
would buy again.
some other info about Volvo I heard of:
1. my friend got a 2nd hand S80, he used it as a daily commute car, no
problem what so ever for several years
2. my colleague's aunt (old lady) got a new S80, all kinds of issues,cannot
stand it and traded in for an Avalon.
3. another friend got a 2nd hand S60, no problem as well (but time is still
short to tell)
4. another friend is a firefighter, he said from the accidents he saw where
a Volvo was involved, Volvo almost always won (not the exact word, but you
know what it means)
any car statistics is just a means of measure to give you some sense how
good it is. However, to any specific car individually, it all depends.
