一般还需要更换tension和 water pump， 顺便把drive belt也换掉. 我的帕萨特刚换
的，花了1040刀，日本车还是便宜些，换起来比较简单相对德国车。 |

Usually timing belt last 7 years or 90K miles (which ever comes first), but
I have also seen some kits last from 60K to 120K.
If you have a small shop do it, make sure they do not get any oil or grease
on the belt during install, it will shorten its life.

tax for timing belt change.
If I were LZ, I would wait a bit to see if Toyota dealers in the area offer
any coupon for the timing belt change.
It's usually ok to delay the change a bit(like another 10~20k miles) but not
push your luck too much.

发帖数: 878 | 16 普通的引擎打开一遍大概需要三到四个小时，
6缸之类复杂一点需要6个左右
那条皮带几十块钱够了
这样可以大概算一下多少钱，去车店自己心里就比较有数了。
反正开一遍引擎，什么gasket，water pump/hose之类的，能换的都给他换了（一般不
多收人工费），七八百也合算了。毕竟属于神车，没什么意外的话，接下来三五年只换
机油也还能轻轻松松开个六七万麦。
