是缺乏经验，以为不走保险公司，也就这么结束了。可是最近收到个BMV的notice，
Financial Responsibility verification。 It says"Indiana law requires that
you provide the BMV evidence of financial responsibility for the motor
vehicle involved." 像我和那个司机私了了，也没有什么evidence，应该怎么办呢？

It sounds like BMV (the government) just want something in file. They won't
give any info to your insurance company. And you did not notify the
insurance company anyway.
