the dealers will sniff on you for any, e.g., equinox.
your hw is find out what is a reasonably fair price for that car, through e.

running on for 20k (msrp 22k). So I took a test drive; not bad. And I
offered 19k. They were laughing at me; but I didn't care. It is a trade,
after all. Bid and offer can't match; so I walked.
It's been 2 weeks that I almost forgot. One of the salewoman gave me a call
asking for re-negotiation. So what? |

2.5 + ttl (tl should be < 250, check your tax rate). <-- your target cash

offer is higher than my bid, then no transaction. I will then move to
another stock, simple as that.
