its direction simply such as south, north, east and west.
It seems that the chevy itself doesn't have an embedded GPS.
I still needed a external GPS for guidance.
Without an embedded GPS, how does a car tell its direction:
south, north, east and west?
be noted: the direction it tells is not static direction but
a dynamic direction. It means it can tell you where it goes,
for example it is going south, it is going southwest, and etc. |

suppose you have a compass on your hands, and you face North.
if you walk east with you facing North, your compass will show the pointer
point to N.
If you walk west with you facing North, your compass will not change at all.
we cannot tell what direction we go from the indication of the compass.
how to explain this?

车子指示的是车头所对的方向，不是运动方向。你告诉我车子怎么能“面对北，像东移
动”？你可以试试如果车头朝北倒车，车子会不会显示南方

这个对于人来说没错，但是车不能头朝北又往西走啊，车只能往前走。。。
