发帖数: 4 | 1 昨天收到1张speeding ticket的罚单：限速55，实际71。在罚单的最下面有这样一段话：
A plea of guilty to this charge is equivalent to a conviction after trail.
If you are convicted, not only will you be liable to a penalty, but in
addition your license to drive a motor vehicle or motorcycle, and your
certificate of registration, if any, are subject to suspension and
revocation as prescribed by law.
我是宾州的驾照。请问如果选择plea of guilty，并且交了罚金，是否会被吊销驾照，
是否会影响在纽约州，宾州，或者其他州驾驶？（我英文比较弱，不知道“are
subject to”的意思。而且第一次收到ticket，不知道该怎么办。）

TVB= traffic violations bureau
If so, this kind of ticket is very hard to win assuming you plea not guilty
and then go to hearing at the court.
If it is a white or white/yellow-ish ticket, it is local and you can go to
the local court to seek a plea bargain, which will not save you money but

发帖数: 4 | 4 谢谢回复。收到的是白色的Uniform Traffic Ticket，上面没有罚金数额。只是让选择
“plea of guilty”，或者“plea of not guilty”,签字后邮寄到那个地方的town
court。警察说，然后会被通知要交多少罚金。请问一下，如果选择了“plea of
guilty”，并且交了罚金，是否会仍会被吊销驾照？不明白那段话中“are subject to
suspension and revocation as prescribed by law”是什么意思。 | a******e
发帖数: 5411 | 5 very good. white ticket is easy fix.
If you plea guilty, and you have accumulated enough points (say 11 points
for NY license) within 18 month period, your license will be suspended. If
this is your first time and you've had no other violation, the worst thing
could happen is to have 4 points on your license.
NOTE:
you still need to find out if PA and NY share driver violation data or not,
if not, then it does not make a lot difference. | i***k
