灯亮了.提心吊胆的开回来送去DEALER检查,说要4600换TRANSMISSION. 觉得太贵.
但是看网上的新车,MINIVAN没有三万拿不下来,没钱.
该修吗?谁有类似经验的望分享. |

right away for this one, all showing interest in taking look at this car.
Just withdrawed the ad. and think we put too low a price there.
The KBB/Edmunds indicates the car should be appraised around 6k'ish without
major damage (rough) and still driavable. I just took the cost for
transmission replacement away and put it as 2k, but right now it seems that
is not the correct way to do.
Any thoughts/comments? |

one with local shop? I checked online from https://www.
engineandtransmissionworld.com, it would cost about 1.5k to order one,but
don't know how much the shop will charge the labor. |

发帖数: 194 | 20 Decision made and hope this one help others with similar concern.
Ready to do a transmission service which cost around 100 to 150 usd. If the
warning code still on after doing that, will do a rebuild + 3 yr warranty,
which cost 3200 usd.
Tranny failure is a headache but it should be listed as the 4th safety issue
after brakes,wheels and engine failure. Try not going to freeway as much as
possible, and drive at low speed if needed, it should be ok. However if
your warning icon color changes from yellow to red, that is a real sign to
stop using the vehicle.
Also it is suggested driving a newer minivan or even rental car for long
distance travel if all your family members are on board.
actually have conferred with several resources, and reached to this
conclusion as the best way to do. |
