General Motors is recalling certain 2013-2014 Chevrolet Cruze sedans for a
potential issue with one of the front axles. The Problem: Certain 2013-2014
Chevrolet Cruze sedans with the six-speed manual transmission are being
recalled because the right front axle may fracture and separate, causing the
vehicle to slowly lose power and come to a stop. Additionally, a parked
vehicle with a fractured half shaft could move if the parking brake isn’t
used. The Fix: The automaker has already notified owners to take the
affected vehicle to a dealer to replace the half shaft assembly. Owners may
contact General Motors at 1-800-521-7300 for more information on this recall
, under campaign number 13276. Number of Vehicles Potentially Affected: 3161
Chevrolet Cruze sedans built from January 24, 2013 through August 1, 2013
