two cars collided head-on in Sandisfield.
According to Sgt. Sean Murphy of the Massachusetts State Police, a 2002 Ford
Explorer and 2004 Acura MDX slammed into each other head-on off Route 8 at
approximately 12:28 a.m. on Saturday.
Murphy said that all seven passengers of the MDX were hospitalized. Sang Whu
, 72, of New York suffered the worst of the injuries, and had to be
transported from the scene via helicopter.
There has been no additional word as to Whu’s status, other than Murphy’s
description of him having "serious injuries."
Meanwhile, the driver of the MDX, Yong Park, 42, of Hauppauge, N.Y., along
Hyang Sook Bang, 52, of Brazil, were transported to Charlotte Hungerford
Hospital in Torrington, Conn., with minor injuries.
Murphy added that there were also three juveniles in the MDX along with Park
, all of whom were transported to area hospitals with "minor injuries." Due
to police procedure, Murphy could not give further specifics on the minors’
status. He said it was unknown whether or not seat belts were being used.
Finally, Jong Sook Bang, 36, of Happauge, N.Y., was transported to Berkshire
Medical Center, also with minor injuries. He is currently listed by the
center’s staff as in stable condition.
The driver of the Explorer, 24-year-old Alexandra Cavanaugh of Waterbury,
Conn., was uninjured. No citations had been issued yet regarding the
accident, Murphy said.
State police were unable to give further details of the accident. They said
that troopers in Lee are currently investigating the circumstances of the
collision with the state police’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction
Section and the Crime Scene Services Section. | M*********n

不过现实是iihs top safety的日车遇到同级别poor的美国车，一样超大概率吃瘪
fusion和camry倒车相撞，fusion连个印子都没有，camry不是瘪了就是破了
