The accident happened last Saturday, 11:30 pm, when I was driving at a 45
limit road with one passenger next to me. I was changed to the left lane and
trying to make a left turn. It was green light, I didn't see any car come
from the other side, then I turn left. Suddenly I was hit by a pickup in the
front middle, then the pickup hit the other Seden on its right lane. No one
was injured, but my car and the pickup was total loss.
We were not able to talk much when the police was asking. I said it was
green light, and I turn left because I did't see the pickup. Then the police
gave me a ticket due to failed to yield.
I will never deny my responsibility, but I think the other is also speeding.
My passenger told the police that she didn't see the pickup neither. The
Sedan driver and the witness also said that they didn't actually see
anything because it just happened too fast. I just have a 10000 liability,
which is not able to afford the damage on the other two car. I will be
willing to pay a certain excess if I can afford. However, I think the two
insurance company of the other cars asked much more than I can afford. In
this case, I do not have the evidence to prove the car was speeding, and ask
it to share some responsibility, though it was definitely the case.
What can I do now? Is it possible to negotiate with the other two company?

So you are responsible for loss of other cars but can't afford them?
First of all, I don't think you can prove that the pickup was speeding, so
it is likely your responsibility 100%. I am not sure what you can negotiate
with the other parties upon, they have no reason to share the loss if you
can't prove their responsibility.
Do you have personal assets? Will they be frozen if asked by other parties? |

转以后的车道方向）？
如果是前者，估计对方没开车灯，所以你没注意到，你的大部分责任
如果是后者，肯定对方闯红灯了，对方全责
你现在需要确定皮卡是从哪儿出来的，如果是后者，找好证人一口咬定对方闯红灯，这
个你左转过去的车道被撞的人应该是在等红灯吧？ |

我知道大概很难了，因为各种可能性都没有证据，当时也傻傻都没说什么。 我没有太
多财产，学生党一枚。如果他们要价太高，我只能说负担不起，希望给个realistic的
价格。

是前者。 我真的觉得他超速，而且没开车灯，不然我和我朋友不可能完全看不见。可
是我们没有证据。所有的现场照片中，车灯都是没有开的。
但是我们当时吓傻了，没有指出来。

把照片寄给保险公司，以照片为证据，车祸罚单要求上庭减免责任。
还有没钱最不怕了，怕的是有钱有资产，以后保险买得高高的，半年多几十块而已。

发帖数: 3249 | 11 楼主不知舍不舍得花千把块钱，请车祸私家调查员，private investigator.
调查的最差结果就是和现在一样。但是有可能investigator的报告可以减轻你的
liability甚至无过错。

价格，能谈好，就像把事情赶紧了解掉。吊着真的很不爽。如果实在没办法，自己还的
付万吧块掉话，我再考虑请私家调查员。

我刚刚去拿了警察的报告。意料之中我付全责。但是那个警察报告上说，我有看见他开
过来，还撞过去。我真的是无语了。我和我朋友都强调多次，我们真没看到。然后警察
写他们都车速都是45，明明就不可能。
我的确错，但是警察也够欺负人的。
