The driver of the white pickup (who spoke no English) swore to her insurance
agent that she had a green light. However, if you listen closely,
immediately after the impact, she guns it, trying to flee. Fortunately the
impact nearly ripped her front PS tire off, disabling the truck.
Her insurance company wanted a copy of the video to discount the other
driver's claims.
Shortly after this accident, my SIL purchased EIGHT of these cameras (one
for each direction, in two cars). It only takes one event like this to make
you realize having a camera is cheap insurance against unscrupulous
