Our 2010 Subaru Outback needs a new CVT transmission – $6500 for new from
the dealer – not sure I will buy a CVT again – though the dealer was
itself shocked (so it can’t happen very often). I guess we are just (un)
lucky. |

The statement that cvt Transmissions are less expensive is a lie. 5500 just
for the transmission. It takes special fluid that costs 3 times as much as
standard. Haven’t seen one upside yet… |
