RAV4 Hybrid
Automatic transmission 9,000 miles
Vehicle has been intermittently jumping into Drive when in Reverse and once
into Reverse when in Drive. This has happened multiple times and once with
my wife's friend in the car who has signed a letter saying the car was
already in drive and this happened. This did occur at least twice when the
car was not fully started but still engaged in reverse (see video) with
reverse camera showing. Toyota claims this is user error/slanted land (which
it is not) and they can't replicate. This also occurred when my wife was
parallel parking and had the car in drive then into reverse it pulled
forward almost throwing the car into traffic.
