这是不是说明电池不储存电?还有没有其它的问题?

还是二楼有经验,确实是alternator问题。
刚才开到autozone,熄火,autozone technician检测电池,说battery is too dead to
test.
然后拿手提式充电器给电池充电,我启动车子,他再测说battery is fine,
alternator 有问题,不充电,可能把电池里的电全放掉了。
请问大家换alternator贵吗?自己换难吗?

再update:
刚从dealership service center回来,换了机油,
叫Tech检查电池和发电机,是电池的问题。
虽然本田电池口碑不好,但我嫌麻烦,还是让他们换了电池,花了170刀,
三年warranty,3年-100个月内坏,按折旧比例退钱。
昨天去autozone好些的电池也要170,也是三年warranty.
另外这辆车每天开20来迈,不跑长途,只要电池能用三年也差不多了。
话说这两块电池都是三年就坏。

这个电池刚好三年。
14年的CR-V,17年到dealer那换机油,说电池有问题,
离新车保修还有一个月,所以免费给换了新电池。
考古了一下,本田的电池确实烂。
准备去autzone买一个好点的电池,autozone免费换电池吧。 |

capacity to actually charge a battery. If the voltage is good when the car
is running, then the alternator is fine. Of course, I do not know voltages
he measured. Maybe the alternator can only produce a 12V voltage and not
enough to charge at 14 V. But that is very rare. Bring your car for a second
opinion. The autozone dude is not a certified tech.

drain somewhere. Otherwise the battery should have a measurable voltage.
However, the alternator should be fine. Modern cars need electric power to
run. It is not an old carbureted truck.

turn off the car, park over night, measure battery voltage: if <12.3V, then
battery is bad.
if both are good, and hears 1 or 2 clicks when turning the key but car won't
start, then starter is bad. |

当时autozone tech和我说电池一点电也没有,而alternator又坏了,那车内所有的灯
应该都不会亮,但实际除了不能启动发动机,其它所有的灯都亮。
刚才我试了车头灯,即使车发动不起来,打开车头灯和远光灯,都是亮的。
明天要去dealer换机油,再要tech检查一下。

starter坏掉了,并不是alternator,供参考。
特征:插入钥匙接通电路不打火时,仪表盘灯亮,开/关窗户也可以控制,打火有滋滋
声但打不着火,用车里备的小铁锤子轻轻敲击 另一人配合打火 则能打火成功,然后能
跑个几十迈没问题,但熄火之后又打不着火了,又得用锤子敲着打火。测量电池电压显
示在正常范围 ----- 换了一个starter,别的啥也没干,就完全恢复正常了。
日本车的starter在Advance Auto Parts就一百来块,自己不嫌脏的话 就垫片布钻到车
底下换了就行,最好有一把Flex Ratchet或者Dual Flex Ratchet,装卸螺栓方便得多
,用普通扳手操作不是太方便。 |

其实任何时候车打不着,首先考虑的是换电池(除非你能肯定是忘了关灯),尤其当你
电池已经三年以上,无论如何先换电池。
去Costco买个电池自己换,不会超过$100,而且有三年free replacement的保证,比
dealer的要好。

s*****r 发帖数: 9 | 26 Three year is kind of short. Does your car have the engine stop feature?
Shutting off the engine when idling is pretty hard on the battery. It is
also possible the CR-V alternator is too weak to charge the battery properly
at idle speed, extended idle at high electric load will drain the battery.
Not properly charged battery won't last long especially considering the heat
in the engine bay.
You can actually test the alternator idle output. Start the car, disconnect
the battery. Look at the idle speed of the engine.
Turn on highbeam, turn signal, seat heater, rear window defroster, dome
light, press the brake panel, and turn the front wheel, if the engine does
not increase the idle speed. The idle output of the alternator is sufficient
.
There is a good chance that the engine will simply quit instead of
increasing idle speed depending on the design of the electrical system. If
one really does this test, do not blame me if something fails on the car. I
did run this test on an old Lexus many years ago to troubleshoot an
electrical problem. The Lexus shut itself off pretty much after the rear
window defroster is on. On this test, a four cylinder generally does better
than a 6 or 8. A four cylinder typically has higher idle speed, the
alternator speed is approximately 3 times the crankshaft speed.
Edit: BTW: I am not saying the alternator is bad if it fails the test. The
alternator may not be able to supply the full electric load by design at
idle speed due to cost and efficiency considerations of the manufacture.
When the battery is too low, the ECU should increase idle speed to run the
alternator harder. If you preform the test by removing the battery
altogether and the ECU is programmed too conservative, it may not have time
to respond before the engine shutdown is inevitable.

零件,六年新的CRV Alternator很难想像已经坏了。很大几率还是电池的问题。买个好
