Tesla announced its fifth consecutive profit quarter on Wednesday. The
company said that in the three months ended September 31, the company had
earnings of $0.76 per share and revenue of $8.77 billion. And Wall Street
analysts surveyed by Bloomberg expected earnings per share of $0.55 and
revenue of $8.26 billion. Tesla's strong earnings report has exceeded
analysts' forecasts. This also makes the electric car manufacturer expected
to achieve first-ever annual profit this year.
