mostly as engine mounts and on suspension components to
dampen vibrations.
they get worn out by heat, load, ozone, etc. a cheap one
will cost you $50+ with expensive ones $150+. labor
is a major expense to replace a bushing: you kind of have to
disassemble the whole suspension.
depending on how badly it is worn, and where it is, you
may not have to replace it.
