and I think your answer is right. And it's not only the left limit, the right
limit of steering may give you the same effect.
It's just when the steering comes to it's mechanical limit, the pinion won't
fall in between two teeth on the rack just in normal steering. Instead, the
pinion will try to get over the last teeth, which, because of the mechanical
limit is an obstacle it can't get over with. So the torsion bar will |
