对我来说没有哪首歌比《平安夜》更能表达圣诞的气氛。记得当年在北京，圣诞的前夜
，大家拿着蜡烛，围坐在一起唱《平安夜》。虽然不太懂歌词的意义，但仍为其优美的
曲调所打动。现在这首歌是逢圣诞必唱的保留曲目，可谓百唱不厌了。
不过这回唱得真是千疮百孔，遍地瑕疵，部分原因是最近声带有点问题，但为了赶上圣
诞节还是就这么拿出来了，最重要的是一片心意，一片心意。
祝大家圣诞平安， Merry Christmas！

other folks. It reminds me of my first Christmas in the US
oh-so many years ago. Not until I experienced the entire
congregation singing "Silent Night" in a less than perfect
but totally dedicated and honest chorus did I really "get"
the essence of Christmas. |
