dept. must have recalculated the GPA, since so many ppl from China have a 3.0-
for BS.
High score doesn't mean that much. An indian girl got 3.93 for BS and
720/800/790 for GRE, 290 or 300 sth. for TOEFL (not 667 scale), she is
admitted already but doesn't get funing. My advisor's comment for her is |

class "Tiao Zhan Bei" for his traffic simulation software in 2001. You advisor
is so critical with GPA, FT!

We all know that here in US, different prof. has different standards,
sometimes 92+ is A, sometimes 80+ is also A :P So what's the criteria?
