Dear BUAA Alumni,
As you all know 10/25 this year is the 60th Birthday of BUAA (10/25/1952 –
12/25/2012). It's time for us to have a Summer Gathering and celebrate the
60th Anniversary of BUAA. The Alumni Summer Gathering is planned at 11:00AM
- 3:30PM 8/26/2012, Sunday at Juanita Beach Park. Juanita Beach Park was
recently upgraded with new grass, paved walkway and pier. The park is
located in the central area of Puget Sound and convenient to most members.
Place read the following details of the gathering.
Time: 11:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 8/26/2012, Sunday
Place: Juanita Beach Park, Northeast Juanita Drive, Kirkland
Style: Potluck Style, Please bring your favorite dishes to share
BUAA alumni Association in PS will provide some fast foods, Watermelon, Soft
Drinks, Chips, Utensils and other supplies.
Activities:
1. Boat rowing in Lake Washington by Kayak and Paddle Boat (
Kayak and Paddle boat will be provided by Stanley Xu and Nanling Chen)
2. Celebration and Fund raising for the 60th anniversary of
BUAA (Voluntary donation will be encouraged). A non profit bank account was
just opened from Bank of America for BUAA Alumni Association North America.
The account information will be emailed to each of you in another email. You
can deposit your donation to that account directly or personal check can be
also accepted in the gathering. Personal check can be addressed to BUAA
Alumni Association North America).
3. Pictures taken for the celebration of the 60th Anniversary
of BUAA establishment.
Please bring your foldable chairs with you if you have. it seems there are
not enough tables and benches in the park.
