to understand why tigers did that. If you get profit, do the trade.
The 2 prospects Yanks give A's are said to be really good ones. And
Lilly will enable A's to deal an extra sp to get a big bat...
but why tigers pulled the trigger? they already have a fine OF/1B/DH group.
They need to enhance infield and pitching. Except they are really high
on the closer prospect from A's, i can't feel any more sense. Maybe the

Pena alone, considering A's doesn't really have a good 1B prospect.
Pena is the kind of players u can't miss, if he can solve the strikeout
problem, he can be a great 1B like Palmeiro or Galarraga, if not, he can
at least be Sexson. On the other hand, A's need Weaver more than any one
they got in the trade. they can just take Weaver(maybe the payroll is the
concern)

if he's not in my team, I won't even know there's such a guy :)
watched his game for couple of times (maybe more), I'd say he's good ...
for pena, maybe he's good prospect but like alomar said, tigers
already have good 1B/DH, they don't really need another 1B,
hope those young guns they get from Yankees will really help them later ...
