No team can spend money like yankees spend theirs, like keep overpaying
free agents, trade for expensive player (like Brown) WITH cash, blahblah..
no team can beat Yankees playing Yankees baseball.
to win they gotta know how to spend money efficiently and find bargains.

use less money/less cost to make more profit.
they don't care about win,
because of revenue sharing, they can also make money. as long as they can make
money why bother spending big bucks to upgrade their lineup?

in the United States (well, this is of no shame), AND major league baseball is
a monopoly corporation, exempted from the antitrust law (this is the biggest
problem).
If MLB is not a monopoly system, simply any one can build the team in New York
and from the market-size of New York, easily 4 or 5 teams can compete there.
In that case, Yankees will not be able to occupy the whole New York market,
and they have no shot t
