His best part is that not only he survives in NYC, but also wins the city's
heart.
I watch him all the way, apparently he wins a lot in his early career.
2001 is a turning point, Yanks should really have win the game 7 in desert.
After the epic 2003 ALCS win over Boston, Yanks mystically lost to Marlins
in World Series which made Josh Beckett a hero.
Of course, 2004 ALCS is the worst debacle.
Yanks lost both 2005 and 2006 ALDS, expectedly.
2007 ALDS loss was a surprise, but anyway..
2008 is the lowest bottom, they missed the playoff.
Yanks came back and finally won 2009.
If yanks were a little luckier, Jeter should have 1 or 2 more rings.
baseball goes on, so does life.

Rivera, Posada, Pettitte. Yankees back then had a great farm. These big name
players arrived at about the same time, and they won 4 champs in 5 years?
That set the tone for their careers, not just Jeter's.
Back then, three AL shortstops emerged onto the scene. Among all three (
Nomar, ARod, Jeter), Jeter is the worst shortstop and probably the least
talented player. But he is durable, and has not been linked to steroids.
Also, he plays for one team, and that team is Yankees. All these help.
He also shone when the light was brightest. I just cannot forget his flip
that got Giambi out. If you have not watched that, find it and watch it. I
promise you that you will remember it as well. His effort is just
unbelievable.
