his great pitching style and the quite low price tag for a starting pitcher.
Nobody can predict injuries, and his injury wasn't very bad, either.
And the author's definition of "long" contract reads like he was time
traveling from 1980s. And how the hell can he rank Pujols' super long super
expensive contract of a fvcking old fart and Hamilton's super expensive
contract better than any of the top 5?

925万美金，结果常规赛季节开始没多久就受伤，之后表现明显不如预期，2012年在MLB
只出赛3场其他时间都在3A！第三年合约被双子买断，西岗刚灰头土脸的回鬼子国...

provided a very realistic hope of giving Yanks the all time homerun king
glory. At the time of signing, ARod performed at a super star level.
Pujols has provided and will provide nothing to Angels. At the time of the
contract, he was in obvious decline on the field. His contract is of roughly
the same length and size, and goes to roughly the same official age of 42.
Even worse, who knows what the hell his real age is. Maybe he's already 42
right now.

in LA. His total WAR (10.6) is valued at $ 74 million, while his total
salary is 15 million.
But we all know that he is expected to beat his contract in the earlier
years of this 10 year mega contract. I am not sure if he's still capable of
producing a 4 WAR in 3 or 4 years. Then it is a total loss for LAA.
