2006年3月17日，沙加緬度國王隊的主場Arco體育館，加州校際聯盟第二級中學總冠軍賽
。
現在我們回頭來看，這是林書豪第一次在NBA場館裡面展露光芒，即將畢業的他，帶領就
讀的帕羅奧圖高中在那年打出32勝1敗的戰績，自己則有平均15.1分6.2籃板7.1助攻5.0
抄截的成績。
但是在當時，在場觀眾可能沒太多人認為他們會得到冠軍，因為他們的對手是全美排名
第11名的聖母高中，過去24年裡9度打進總冠軍賽的聖母高中，該季每場可以得到79.7分
，平均勝差是21.2分，打出33勝2敗的戰績。不管從哪個角度看，這都是一場小蝦米對大
鯨魚的比賽：
光從球場就可以看出兩邊的差異，聖母高中有一座造價1,800萬元的體育館。
聖母高中的先發中鋒Alex Jacobson有7呎1吋高，先發前鋒Taylor King和Kamyron Brow
n則是六呎八吋高，除此之外還有五位球員身高超過六呎七吋。
帕羅奧圖高中的先發中鋒Cooper Miller只有六呎四吋高。
聖母高中有八位球員後來進入NCAA第一級大學就讀，包括北卡大、加州大學洛杉磯分校
、康乃狄克、史丹佛、奧勒岡和亞歷桑納等等。
帕羅奧圖高中只有後來進入哈佛的林書豪。
最重要的是聖母高中有Taylor King。
15歲的時候，King就已經已經長到六呎六吋高。當他在夏季聯盟裡展現了他的破壞力，
在一場比賽投進六個三分球時，當時剛接下加州大學洛杉磯分校教練的Ben Howland看到
了他的表現。Howland驚為天人，立刻決定提供獎學金吸引他加盟。
那時候Taylor King甚至連一場高中比賽都還沒有打過。
身為左撇子球員的King不是只有高度，還有可以遠及三分線外的投籃距離、控衛般的傳
球精準度和無私態度、大前鋒般的籃板技巧，以及願意投入防守的心態。
當然現在我們都知道林書豪拿到17分8籃板2助攻，帶領帕羅奧圖高中以51比47擊敗聖母
高中拿到冠軍，但是很少人知道全場得分最高的球員是King，他得到23分，並且以單季
952分打破聖母高中校史紀錄。
或許就是在這場比賽之後，Taylor King和林書豪走上了如鏡子兩面般的不同道路。
當林書豪收到柏克萊、史丹佛和加州大學洛杉磯分校等一所又一所大學的拒絕信時，Ki
ng來到德州的聖安東尼奧，他將代表美國參加當地舉行的美洲U18錦標賽。
King當時的隊友有誰呢？球隊得分王是現在灰狼隊的Michael Beasley，先發中鋒是現在
七六人隊的Spencer Hawes，除此之外還包括了Jerryd Bayless（暴龍隊）、Jonny Fly
nn（火箭隊）和Donte' Greene（國王隊），曾被NBA球隊選中的Stanley Robinson（20
10年第二輪第29順位）和Kyle Singler（2011年第二輪第3順位）。Taylor King繳出球
隊第三高的12分4.8籃板成績，而美國隊以每場平均大勝對手29.7分的懸殊差距，不意外
地四戰全勝帶回冠軍。
林書豪雖然終於得以加入哈佛籃球隊，不過大一時他只是球隊的第六人，平均4.7分1.8
助攻的成績，很難引起任何人的注意。
還有一年才畢業的Taylor King則持續在加州高中籃球肆虐。他帶領聖母高中拿到前一年
失手的冠軍盃，自己則是單季平均26.7分10.9籃板，入選加州籃球先生，而且成為加州
高中籃球史上得分排行榜第四名。
2007年3月，Taylor King成為麥當勞全美大賽的成員，每年有超過八百位高中球員競逐
參加機會的這項大賽，包括Michael Jordan、Magic Johnson、Kevin Garnett和LeBron
James等都曾經在這個舞台上一展身手。
該年的陣容也如同往常地華麗，Taylor King的西區隊隊友包括了Derrick Rose、Kevin
Love、Blake Griffin、Eric Gordon、Michael Beasley和James Harden等，簡直跟現
在NBA的明星隊差不多，而他們對抗的東區隊雖然星光稍弱，不過也有O.J. Mayo、Kost
a Koufos、Jonny Flynn、J.J. Hickson和Donte Greene等現在的NBA球員。在24位參賽
球員中，有17位後來都打進了NBA。
King結束了令人印象深刻的高中籃球生涯，沒有進入四年前就答應給他獎學金的加州大
學洛杉磯分校，選擇了另外一所籃球傳統強隊，由Mike Krzyzewski，也就是K教練領軍
的杜克大學。
這幾乎是Taylor King籃球生涯的頂點，而林書豪則幾乎要走到籃球生涯的尾聲。
不過就在2007年到2008年球季，兩人的生涯再度轉了向。
在哈佛就讀大二的林書豪得到了充足的上場時間，平均上場31.3分鐘，得到12.6分4.8籃
板3.6助攻，並且入選了長春藤聯盟第二隊。
而在杜克的King則沒那麼順利。一來他前面有明星球員DeMarcus Nelson等人，二來他六
呎八吋的身高，在大學前鋒裡不再像高中時那樣鶴立雞群。大一這年，Taylor King平均
上場時間只有9.7分鐘，得到5.5分2籃板。
一年之後，King離開了杜克大學。
大三的林書豪表現更為耀眼了，他把成績提升到17.8分5.5籃板4.2助攻，在得分、籃板
、助攻、抄截、阻攻、整體命中率、三分球命中率和罰球命中率都是所屬聯盟前10名，
入選了長春藤聯盟第一隊，在對上全國排名第17名的波士頓學院的比賽中，林書豪得到
27分8助攻6籃板，帶領球隊擊敗了三天前才剛擊敗全國第一的北卡大的對手。
而King轉學到了維拉諾瓦大學，依據規定得要停賽一年。
大四的林書豪大放光芒，他的成績來到16.4分4.3籃板4.5助攻，並且在對上全國排名第
12名的康乃狄克大學時，拿下生涯新高的30分9籃板3助攻。
重回球場的King一開始好像宛如新生。他有一場繳出19分12籃板的成績，在對上聖約瑟
夫大學時得到20分，並且在三場比賽間三分球投22中11。
不過當維拉諾瓦打出開季20勝1敗的成績後，King坐在板凳上的時間卻越來越多。到了球
季的最後一場比賽，球隊教練Jay Wright乾脆讓他從頭到尾坐足了板凳。
King在維拉諾瓦大學那年的成績是7.4分5.3籃板，平均上場19分鐘。球季結束後，他一
開始宣布要離開球隊，但是會持續就讀，不過後來還是離開了維拉諾瓦大學。依據球隊
官方說法，他離開的原因是個人因素，不過人們謠傳是因為他吸食大麻，而他對此並沒
有正面承認或否認。
當林書豪畢業後在NBA選秀會上落選，卻得到家鄉的金州勇士隊青睞，得以簽下NBA合約
時，離開了東岸的King也回到了加州。
林書豪在NBA和發展聯盟中載浮載沉，但是仍然緊握著自己的籃球夢努力不懈。
King則只想要找個學校，從籃球圈消失，好好地讀書、工作。
但是其實他永遠離不開籃球。King回到了曾經有過輝煌表現的聖母高中，在一場場鬥牛
中慢慢重拾信心。他想要念南加大，但是南加大沒辦法提供他獎學金，意味他得要自己
付五萬元的學費，而且依據規定他還要停賽一年，所以King放棄了。
而康克迪亞大學的Ken Ammann教練伸出了手。King的高中教練Gary McKnight也曾經當過
Ammann的教練，兩人持續維繫的良好關係在這件事上提供了助力。而Ammann教練在詢問
了杜克的K教練和維拉諾瓦的Wright教練後，知道自己得要坐下來和King好好談一談。
七個月後，King成了球隊在場上的領導者，在場下的模範公民。他戒掉了之前的壞習慣
，乖乖地參加練球。儘管已經難以拾回過往的球技，不過他平均每場14.2分6.0籃板依然
是球隊之冠。
康克迪亞大學在他帶領下打出開季12連勝。
2011年夏天，當林書豪藉著封館期間鍛鍊球技時，Taylor King從康克迪亞大學畢業，同
年10月，他和加拿大籃球聯盟的倫敦閃電隊簽下合約。
2012年1月17日，當林書豪被紐約尼克隊下放到發展聯盟的伊利湖灣鷹隊時，倫敦閃電隊
釋出了King。
2月2日，同樣屬於加拿大籃球聯盟的魁北克人隊簽下了Taylor King。兩天後，「林來瘋
」第一次在對籃網隊的比賽中展現。
截至目前為止，Taylor King在魁北克人隊只出賽了六場75分鐘，平均6.2分2.5籃板，而
當年在冠軍賽的對手林書豪，則成為了紐約尼克隊的救世主，引起了全球熱潮。
五年前的一場冠軍賽，當時身為兩邊主將的兩人現在命運迥異，大概是當時場邊所有人

His attitude doomed him. Couldn't stay out of the party life style of a
college kid. If he focused on basketball and kept his outside life style in
check he may have lived up to the hype. His defense and ridiculous shot
selection made him a complete liability on the court. Basically, he never
improved his game after dominating in high school and having a green light
like no other kid in the high school ranks. That doesn't fly playing in high
level college or pro ball. The skills were there, and he did play hard at
Nova' from what I could see. It appears the hype was too soon and too grand.
Another example of a young kid getting too much exposure from these
ridiculous recruiting and scouting agencies who are crowning kids at the age
of 9-10 as the next big thing. Staying hungry, a good attitude, and putting
in the hours is how you make it. Kids who get hyped early almost always
seem to lose these things, thus, failing to live up to that incredibly heavy
expectations and hype.

05-06 roster. I suspected that a couple of them might have received scholar
ship offers to D-1 programs, and it would add a little to the Jeremy Lin sto
ry.
I didn't expect that eight of them have ended up on major D-1 rosters:
Taylor King - Duke / Villanova
Alex Jacobson - Arizona
Kamyron Brown - Oregon / Nebraska
David Wear - UNC / UCLA
Travis Wear - UNC / UCLA
Blake Arnet - UCLA
Andy Brown - Stanford
Jamaal Trice - Connecticut
It should be noted that the Wear twins were freshmen at the time, and they d
idn't play in the championship game. Still, it seems like the Palo Alto vict
ory was a modern-day Hoosiers story. And, of course, it's quite strange that
scouts completely ignored a player who scored 17 points against a loaded te
am full of D-1 prospects.

发帖数: 18578 | 14 It's normal that Anderson Varejao, Mo Williams, JJ Hickson are not all stars, but it will be outrageous that Lebron James is not all star, the same logic applies for Lin's high school teammates. Also, none of Lin's teammates in Harvard are legit NBA talent even they won over Boston College and barely lost to U Conn by only 6 points.

好的小孩子，例如健力宝，靠集中培训而培养出一支强队，是不可能成功的。现在还有
人想走回老路。

That is why American sports is no joke, everything earned by talent and
effort , heart and soul .
That also explains why American are so fall in love with this Lin kid, becuz they know how impossible Lin can
be to what he is now.
