It is actually very hard to have another Linderella in
short time, if not
all time.
Yi should surround himself with people who know both
Chinese and American
culture, to nestle him understand the survival philosophy
of NBA and life in
USA as a whole. Yi is a good kid and I watched him
training when he was 14
with absolutely no muscle mass at all. I love him, but he
can't use his
Chinese version of understanding the game to put into his
NBA playbook. He
need to fundamentally transform him mindset to understand
his role to make
his game smarter and more consistent.
BTW, there were some pure 7 foot 3 point shooters in NBA,
one of them is sam
perkin (6'9") from Seatle
