You are suggesting that he should abandon his team to treat his 'unknown'
cause of knee soreness.
Then you are suggesting that he should abandon his current agent who have
been with him through thick and thin and has done nothing wrong except being
a small agent.
And at last you are suggesting that he should come back next season as if he
wouldn't get injured again next season. So he will just be a quitter season
by season in order to be the most healthy player in the league?
If the 8th place is jeopardy, I am sure that Lin will come back even not 100
% well.But I also think that the team, the coach and the audience will
protect him from playing too long.
