East: with rose out, only one team left, the whistle team/baby team
West: top 5 seed + mav, all have a legitimate shot. spurs & thunders are
surely favorite. With bynum being a big factor, cannot count lakers out.
grizzlies surely has the champ caliber depth. They just need a stand-out
leader. could be gay, could be zach, could be conley. Anybody stands out in
the last 5 min, they are a tough team to beat, and I wont be surprised if
they beat anyone. clippers, not very good at D though, their O is surely
good, esp with the addition of Nick Young. Blake and CP are overrated, but
still scaring. And even losing a few key pieces, you cannot count the
defending champ out. It is really heart-breaking to lose the opportunity to
steal one on the road. With KD that bad last night, mav still wasted the
gift from god. Likely they wont have any chance at game 2 and 5. Only chance
is that mav keep 3,4,6, and try their luck on game 7.
for grizzlies, clippers, thunders and mav, they need to beat 3 champ caliber
teams to have a chance to fight the whistle team. Even lakers and spurs are
luckier, they need 2 rounds of dog fight. And the whistle team needs to do
nothing but FT to host the final. What an unfair world!
Predict: winner of thunders vs lakers go to final. Champ depends on ref/
