敢把林这个rookie当主力用，而且重点培养.

好些纽约球迷对林有意见也是觉得林是纽约培养出来的，尼克斯不给他机会他就没有现
在的一切，后来火箭改offer也是不按常理出牌，本来第一个offer尼克斯是打算匹配的
,至于后来为什么火箭改offer谁也不知道是什么原因。
For Jeremy Lin a year later, a much better way to spend Christmas
Of all the reminders that Jeremy Lin received about how much his life has
changed in just a year, Christmas with the Rockets brought memories flooding
back of a day he thought his career might be over after only the briefest
hint of a start.
“I knew it was exactly a year ago on this day I got cut,” Lin said Tuesday
. “It’s only been a year, man. It’s crazy. It’s ridiculous. It’s so
different now. I’m so blessed to be here. A year ago, I thought, this could
be it for me.”
The Rockets had hoped to keep Lin on the roster after 12 days of the lockout
-delayed training camp, but needing a roster spot to add Samuel Dalembert
and unable to find a trade to clear a roster spot, they released him.
“I got released on Christmas,” Lin said. “Christmas Eve they called me
and said, ‘Just give us a sec. Stay in Houston until tomorrow because we’
re going to try to keep you.’ About 1 o’clock in the afternoon on
Christmas, my agent called me and said they couldn’t get anything done and
I got waived. I took a flight home at like 5 p.m.”
Lin was celebrating the holiday with his family, but after the news from the
Rockets, the day took a considerable turn.
“When we flew home, we couldn’t get on the same flight,” Lin said. “We
were all on different flights. It was just a mess of a Christmas. The good
thing is we were all together for the first part of the day. It was just a
tough day in general. I was hoping to stay and not get cut.”
Considering all that happened since, Lin said “It really is crazy. I did
think about it today. It’s only been a year.” |
