be replaced, a solid short-blocker with some offense like Asik, is really
hard to come by again.
After the trade, there would be a huge hole at the center.

players sucked. Then after they had Ron Artest, Scola, Battier and Alston,
either Yao or Tmac were injured. Nobody wants that to happen again.

shipping Asik out of Houston. Because that will severely affect them in
protecting the paint. And good centers are really rare in NBA. Asik is
salary is relatively low too. Unless D-Howard is joining, hehe.

sg) very often have problem in keeping people in front of them. In this
case, it is very important to have a center like Asik who can block shots in
the paint. Hayes defenses well. But he cannot efficiently block or alter
shots because Hayes (6'7" ??) is much shorter than Asik (7').
