hitting four of his first five shots, Howard was a non-factor the rest of
the night. A combination of Jermaine O'Neal, Hamed Haddadi and Luis Scola
held the seven-time All-Star in check and forced the Lakers to settle for
perimeter jump shot after perimeter jump shot.
That was … not very Nash-ty: Steve Nash was more aggressive in his second
return trip to the Valley and led all scorers with 19 points. But Nash
looked like a far cry from the two-time MVP, and it had little to do with
the purple and gold. The former Sun was 6-of-17 from the field and had just
