[Observable in enhanced video] RHH shows that Harden (HOU) makes contact
with Livingston's (GSW) arm that affects his driving shot attempt.

[Comment: before the play it's GSW 94-93 Hou. So Livingston should have had
2 free-throws and Rockets should have 5 team fouls, Harden's 4th. I don't
think it's a problem to assume that Livington would have made 2 free throws
to make it GSW 96-93 Rockets ]

[Comment: Following this play, GSW earned another 2 points from Clark's shot
. It's GSW 98 - 93 Hou]

Harden (HOU) initiates the contact with Iguodala (GSW) to create space and
dislodges him from his legal guarding position.
[Comment: As Harden commits this 5th personal foul, the shot shouldn't have
been counted. So it's still GSW 98-93 Hou with 2.7 seconds left. And it's
GSW's ball]
Up to this point, do we need go on? Even if Green turned over the ball again
with 1 second left, he obviously wouldn't have committed any foul on
Beasley to outlet his frustration, as Warriors would have been 5 points
ahead!
In a nutshell, with referee's reports, we easily arrive at the following
conclusions, should the referees had been correct on each play:
1) Rockets would have 0 point from the last 2 minutes play
2) GSW would have won long before last 1 second
3) Green wouldn't commit such a stupid flag 1 foul on Beasley or any other
player
And I don't believe the coincidence that every incorrect call favoring
Houston actually helped them to make points while every incorrect call
favoring GSW makes no impact on the score at all.
But don't flatter yourself, Rockets fans! I don't think that the referees
are actually in favor of Rockets. I think that the league simply wants Curry
to go back to the court as early as possible. |
